Default Getting email (SMTP) notifications working??

I am running a test osxMax2 RC3 on my local PC (localhost). Do you know how to implement the email connections so that when a person registers in the store will receive a email notification, and the admin (store owner) will also receive a notification when the new customer has registered? I currently get this when I register a new customer:

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in C:\wamp\www\osCMax2\includes\classes\email.php on line 522

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\wamp\www\osCMax2\includes\classes\email.php:522 ) in C:\wamp\www\osCMax2\includes\functions\general.php on line 34

Thanks, oling

Default RE: Getting email (SMTP) notifications working??

You need to have an SMTP server running on your local computer...
