| Just tried to install the latest release V2_RC3 on my local server (called database max23) and hit this wall - Table 'max23.configuration' doesn't exist. The new database is definately there and there are no tables yet as its a fresh install. These are the messages as I go through. Tried twice - same result. A test connection made to the database was successful. The database import was successful! then I get: A test connection made to the database was NOT successful. The error message returned is: Table 'max23.configuration' doesn't exist Any suggestions?? Phil |

| When do you get the error? While running the install script? Please be as specific as possible.

| Ok, the bad sql file has been corrected in the download packages... I am also attaching just the sql file here. Download, unzip and replace the /catalog/install/osCMax.sql with the new file included in the zip. Then re-run the installer.

| Spoke to soon... All I have done so far is change the shop name and got this message: 1062 - Duplicate entry '0' for key 1 insert into whos_online (customer_id, full_name, session_id, ip_address, time_entry, time_last_click, last_page_url) values ('0', 'Guest', '735133c4dd9204562ec8c2e794f8bbd3', '127.0.0.1', '1154731617', '1154731617', '/max23/index.php') [TEP STOP] Cleared all tables - reinstalled - tried again - same result. Cleared all tables - reinstalled again - this time tried to add new article - same result. Something not quite right somewhere. I'm running PHP 4.4.2, MySQL - 5.0.20, phpMyAdmin - 2.8.0.3, Apache 2.0 if it helps to know. |

| Must be a mysql 5 thing, as I cannot reproduce the issue on mysql 4.1. I don't have a mysql 5 machine handy to test right now though. How about emptying the whos_online table of all records. Also, it would help if you tell me exactly what page the error occurs on, catalog or admin side, and what exactly the steps are to reproduce it.

| I do see it now.. Use the original sql file from RC2 until I can rebuild the rc3 file. Wipe the db and recreate the db with the RC2 sql . Let me know what happens. I will not be able to correct it for a couple of hours. Attached below is the original RC2 sql file and it corrects the issue (at least when I test it).

| Have reinstalled as per your instructions using older SQL file. All appears to be working ok. I have created two sample products and set myself up as an account holder. However there must be something I'm doing wrong somewhere as I cant find the articles link for the two sample articles I have created and the 'For more information, please visit this products webpage.' link isn't going to the correct address. Where should the articles link be? frontpage somewhere presumably, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Other than that it appears to be ok so far... |
