Default Default install credit card and shipping problems

Hi Guys,

I have a base installation of RC2 and have run into a couple of problems that have been brought up here previously, but there hasn't been a satisfactory solution proposed:

1) When a customer goes to complete an order with a credit card, a couple of errors pop up:

Quote:
Warning: Missing argument 4 for validate() in /home/armorlid/public_html/includes/classes/cc_validation.php on line 17

Warning: Missing argument 5 for validate() in /home/armorlid/public_html/includes/classes/cc_validation.php on line 17
Now this is caused because of a problem with a CVV contribution not being completed. A couple of solutions where presented that disable the portion of the code, but I would like to retain it and use the CVV. Does anyone know which CVV contrib that someone tried to install? If I can find it, I can complete the installation, so I don't have to trudge through the code to back out what someone had started...

2) I have applied the most recent RC2 patch. before the patch the flat rate shipping module worked fine. Now for some reason, when it is brought up on an order page it defaults to the standard description of: MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT_TEXT_TITLE in both the admin and order section. I checked the flat.php files in the languages and everything looks like it should be there, but for some reason the label variables in those files aren't showing up. What code is involved in making those labels be displayed? Also, the labels for the Fed-Ex variables don't show up in the admin section, just like the flat, but the rest of them sre ok (ups, usps, individual, etc). Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help guys. If I can get these couple of little problems worked out, I'll be golden.....

1. See this: http://oscdox.com/index.php?name=PNp...validation+php

The last post in the thread is what you want. The code in question is in all of the CC modules, so open the module you want to modify and add the changes.

2. Not sure. Double check your changes, as it looks like you removed or changed the constant name or where the files are looking for those constants.

Default RE: Default install credit card and shipping problems

On Issue #1 that worked. Thanks. But the problem now is that there is no where to enter or display the CVV on the customer side or the admin side. Is this correct or was there supposed to be a CVV contribution working in this version?

I don't mind adding a CVV contrib from OSC, but I just don't want to trip over work that someone else has half finished (if that's the case)

Still working on Issue #2

Thanks for the help!

Default RE: Default install credit card and shipping problems

Hi,

The CVV mod was never installed into the default cc module. It was installed in the Authorize.net and linkpoint modules. If you want it in the basic cc module, you will need to install it there.
