FATAL ERROR

I am trying to install OSCMax 2.0 on my server but I get the following message when I try to install:

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!

Any suggestions?

Please make it simple. I am a dud when it comes to this.

I did. The search returns no results.

Then you did not search the term correctly, because when I click 'Search' and enter register_globals, I get 50 matches and #6 gives me a server level solution and #8 gives me a .htaccess level solution.
