Quick update not connecting

When I try to use the quick product update, the program hangs. The only way to stop it is to crash it and "end program". Is this a known issue or are there any suggestions?

if you are referring to the Xshop program, first of all it should go in the Xshop forum, secondly, yes, it is a problem that has 2 threads dedicated to it already
