There is no "text add" in OSCMAX store. However the AABOX template does promote AABOX (the people that host and support this site with $$$$) Change to your own template or try another of the couple templates that are not "AABOX" default. Turn off the BANNER add (in the admin) or remove it from the template.

EDIT ONE FILE in your own template directory "main_page.tpl.php" and your good to go.

Okay,

1) What kind of joker even thinks of puts their shopping cart on ad supported hosting? Seriously, thats really condescending. So no its not my host.

2) I'm not complaining about the template, I'm complaining about text advertisements in the ADMIN PANEL!

Perhaps someone at AABOX has got me a very unique OSCMAX. I think I'm going to have to post a screenshot, I'm getting the feeling that everyone here is just assuming that I'm dumb or something. No seriously, right there in the admin panel, text ads! Call it what you want but links to commercial services are ads, PERIOD.

No, not assuming you are dumb. Just not understanding your issue because you are not very specific in what you are referring to (front or back end)

Since osCMax is open source, just remove the code that you don't want from the admin panel.

All those links etc are standard in osCMax and help support the free development of osCMax, so we will not be releasing osCMax without it.
