Adding non-attributed product to cart - bypass shipping page

I have submitted a bug that I was able to reproduce in stock installation. I was hoping that a few others could test this on their own shop. Any suggestions on resolution?

This was because there was no weight set for the product. Once I added a default weight for every product, the problem has not returned.
