where do i define my smpt info

where in the scripts does it call for ur smpt info
like

Short answer:
configure.php (the server name, I think - or N/A)

There should be NOTHING in osCMax to configure other than filling in a return EMAIL (in admin).
For both SMTP or sendmail - they use the SERVERS default mail service....

If you using a localhost/test/development setup on M$-Windows - setup and make sure "Outlook Express" can send mail (do not need it to receive...) to your local POP/email host.
