Default SMTP EMAIL Configuration catalog and admin???? osCMAX RC2

Where do you set up the following

timeout - The timeout in seconds for the call Default: 5
host - The hostname of the smtp server Default: localhost
port - The port the smtp server runs on Default: 25
helo - What to send as the HELO command Default: localhost
auth - Whether to use basic authentication Default: TRUE
user - Username for authentication Default: <blank>
pass - Password for authentication Default: <blank>

Default RE: SMTP EMAIL Configuration catalog and admin???? osCMAX R

These are mostly server side setting....

SMTP in osCMax does not use all these setting. It uses the servers default.... (ie if your runing a "test" localhost setup on windows.... make sure "outlook" works to send out mail - does not need to receive for OSC.) By setting up a MAIL client to sendmail on the PC the "server" will take that as the default mail connection....

'sendmail' (which has to be setup/configured for linux/unix/Mac) and SMTP BOTH use the servers setup for sending mail - like MOST server based mail scripts.
