Default New template installation

Hi, can someone guide me regarding templates. I've purchased a new template and uploaded the osc folder, though I did rename it for my own benefit, and put it in the directory next to the default "aabox" folder. I've changed the admin setting, but from looking at the results, I'm pretty sure I need to configure some more files? I would gratefully appreciate any help or directions.

Default RE: New template installation

Crispin:

Purchasing a TEMPLATE for OSC MS1/MS2 is not the same as what MAX uses. We use the BTS (Basic Template System) format (like CRE Loaded and what OSC MS3 final will be using).

You will have to manually make the changes to the template files that your bought template has.

If it is mostly graphics and CSS files then is is easier - Make a COPY of the AABOX template make all changes in the CSS file if differnt (use a file compare tool) - copy over all buttons to the language files and other graphics as needed. Test new template....

If there is "other" "HTML code" modification in the PHP files - then copy the appropoate "tpl.php" file from the "fallback" to your current template and MAKE just the changes needed.

Good Luck...
