Default Install = No Trouble - View = No Stylesheet?? Advice Please

    G'Day
I have installed OSCMax on a linux box running
    Server OS:Linux 2.4.20-28.8
    Database:MySQL 3.23.58
    PHP Version 4.2.2

I have no trouble with Postnuke and phpBB

The result looks as if I am not getting the stylesheet to
    setup the page
I have moved the stylesheet to each directory untill it is in the root
    No Change
Here are 2 pix One is the standard AABox template, the other is
    a Freebie Template called "Yello"

    Suggestions and help gratefully recieved....

I suggest you leave the stylesheet in it's default location.

No need to MOVE the style sheet.... Leave it in the TEMPLATE directory like the AABOX teplate has it.

As for the YELLO template - have not seen it.... From where? It MAY not be 100% compatable with osCMax....

    When I used the words.....
    >I have moved the stylesheet to each directory untill it is in the root
    >No Change
It informs a reader that I have experimented with moving the stylesheet around to see if the problem was a "path" problem
As the result is "No Change", the problem can be safely said to NOT be stylesheet stroke path related

    Moving On.....

As the problem presents its self on an "Out of the Box" install on a machine that runs other database driven websites and is not reproduced on my public server the problem must be in the settings on my private server

As I am using a normal stroke standard stroke "not modified at all" installation of Linux other users must have had the same result

What did they do to get the pages to show correctly?

    Thank You....

If you are adding a new template to oscmax, then the problem is how you added the template for sure, or how that template is calling it's stylesheet.

If all the default templates are working, and your new template is not, how about comparing the template directory structure and location of your stlyesheets. If you note any significant differences, post them here.

Also, the way that BTS calls the stylesheet, it must be in the BTS template directory that you are using. Compare how the aabox main_page.tpl.php calls the stylesheet and just copy it...
