Proceed Without Account BUG?

Hi,

Proceed without Account does not work from a fresh installation. Everything else, to the best of my knowledge works fine, but not Proceed without Checkout.

When you fill in all the user details such as address etc, you get a page that's completely blank except for the State/Province Field in the top right hand corner (see attached) and there's no way of going any further.

Creating an account and checking out that way works okay...

I've already tried fresh install twice with new databases.... Tried differen't themes...

Again no other issues have come up and I thought it was a bug in the release but a search on both osc and max forums nothing similar appeared and this sort of a bug definitely would have been known by now. I can't imagine what the fault is...

What is your environment? Apache version? PHP version? MySQL version?

I got the EXACT same problem.

If you get anything on it please keep me posted.

Also there is a minor bug: if u choose sweden as county it want you fill in state, the only thing is that states doesnt exist in sweden :S Any fix on this too would be appriciated.

EDIT: I found where to turn off the state box. Did so and now i got another problem. United states is always set as standard country when i am at the fill in details page. I think this has something to do with the error tha follows.

When i have filled everything in and clicks next, it removes my email i entered and places a red * under the country drop-down. If i fill in my email again and press next i will proceed. strange..

My Linux box is FEDORA CORE 2 (minimal installation)

Installed QMAIL as per qmailrocks.org instructions

Installed Webmin and VirtualMin Addon

More than likly this is your problem - Check your editing as PWA work fine on all installs I do.... Check to the ORGINAL ZIP FILES....

I have the same problem. Once i get click continue after typing in my address it just goes to the select STATE screen and is stuck.

I have osCMax RC2 files - just cleaning it up and fixing a few small things... I will check the PWA again....

Hi Thanks for the reply,

But webmin and virtualmin is purely a linux maintenance front end. Virtualmin automates virtual domains for apache.

I can't see how these will effect the way php codes are run.

I'll try the above installing oscmax on the default domain (ie one that was set up with Apache and therefore not touched by either webmin or virtualmin).
