| I'm having the strangest problem... I install the shop fine, I can edit things in admin happily and view the shop itself fine and all works great, then for no apparent reason I get a 500 error... It seems it just goes "POP!" at some point and I start getting the error. The server is perfectly fine otherwise, I can view other files I upload to the /shop/ directory fine, I have SSL installed and it works fine, it just seems to 'stop working'... very odd Oh, I can also access the admin side of things fine... | The dreaded 500 error. Yes when a server throws that error I want to scream. It could be anything... First, have you applied all the bugfixes in the bugtracker? Second, what versions of php/mysql/apache are you running?

| Maybe your host was updating php settings, or maybe just gremlins...

| Hi! I too am having the same problem. I have installed OSCMax probably 6-7 times and it works fine for a while and then I change something in admin and I get 500 Internal Server Error. This last time I changed an image for a category - it was working with the old image, with the new one it isn't, not even the index page will come up. I checked and I'm not running PHP as CGI! Any ideas, Ernie |
