Default Installed and upgrading from osc 2 database needs importing

What a wonderful program, great job MIKE!

We installed a fresh copy of Oscmax2 on the new server (cpanel). The old site in oscommerce 2.2 is on the old server (ensim). We need to IMPORT the old site mysql into oscmax, is this possible? Any help would be appreciated so we can make this switch.

Thanks again.

Paul

*bump* Hey folks, any assistance would be great - I'm also wanting to begin a migration process and not having the success I would have expected in getting the database issues resolve,
Cheers, mjh

Make a backup of your old database and use the backup copy with MySQL_Diff to restructure your old DB to match Max2.0 and then you can import your database into Max. You can find a lot of Q&A here by searching MySQLDiff. You can download it here http://www.mysqldiff.org/
