| Can't get SLL to work using subdomains on v2.0. Have it working fine on v1.7 on the same domain, using a subdomain as follows: http://mysub.mydomain.com and https://mydomain.com/mysub/ This doesn't work in 2.0, and after a few specific steps, I'm not able to access the catalog on the http:// server either. It requires a new install. |

| This would depend on HOW you bought your SSL certificate... Wild card will allow a SUBDOMAIN and is setup like *.mywebsite.com This will allow mysub.mywebsite.com or secure.mywebsite.com or store.mywebsite.com or store.secure.mywebsite.com etc..... But there are quite expensive.......several hundred $$$ - for a cheap one..... MOST SSL are for a SINGLE domains like www.mywebsite.com (https://mywebsite.com is NOT the same as https://www.mywebsite.com). Check your 1.7 vers 2.0 config files - most likely there is a change.....

| I understand the differences in the URL's, and the cert. The problem is that it WORKS FINE with a subdomain (aka subfolder) in v1.7, but IT DOES NOT WORK in v2.0. The config files for the two installs are nearly identical, with the exception of the folder names. |

| Domains, subdomains make no difference to osCMax if you have the paths right. I have osCMax working on top level domains and subdomains flawlessly. When you say 'It doesn't work' you need to be more specific... Error messages? What happens in your browser?
