| I installed the latest version OScMax with zero problems. I opened the catlog and it seemed to be running great. I went into the admin and started doing the store config. i even added a test product. Now when i click on the catalog link in Admin , i get this page cannot be displayed message? Any idea which setting in the admin set this off? Dazed and confused |

| I've got the EXACT same problem. I was about to reinstall, but an answer to what exactly broke would be good. OH, i can add this. In the catalog directoy of my site, there is a file named core (assuming this is a core dump) that is about 88 MB in size. |

| Server specs please... Also, whatever you changed would be good too. I can't help with no starting point, and I am not going to bother guessing. I usually guess wrong

| Found out the problem on my installation. I added an empty category with no products. When I did that, the page wouldn't load. If I remove the empty category (leaving NO categories) the page loads fine. Aren't there suppose to be some demo categories? I'll put this into a bug report now, just wanted to give you a heads up. |

| Thanks for the debugging! I do appreciate it. I do not see the same issue, and based on the info you PM'd me, I think it is related to mysql versions. osCMax has not been tested on mysql 4.1x at all, so that is most likely the issue. All of our dev machines run mysql 4.0x, and we cannot reproduce this problem. If anyone else has a mysql 4.1x server to test on, I would appreciate any debugging/tracking you could do. If you can trace back the source of the error it would be great. It may be a few weeks before we start testing on mysql 4.1x...

| Same thing has happened. This time I did not adjust the admin settings, just created a catagory with no product. I then get the page cannot be displayed message when i click on the catalog link in admin. We are using mySql 4.0.22 version and a unix server. I will post a bug report |

| Just a side note - I removed the empty category and everything started working again. Once I added the category back, everything worked fine. |

| There might be some corrupt data in the default db schema. I am checking into this now. Nope. The schema is clean. No data there. Could you check your mysql and php error logs for any clues?
