Login Problems - Host Upgraded PHP

Have had a OSCMax site for many years. Recently, my host upgraded PHP, and now, when I try to log into the admin panel, the screen just refreshes, and clears the admin username and PW fields. I can't get any further. Site apperas to be up and running (BodyPruf Personal Care Products :: Body-Pruf.com) but I can't seem to get into the admin. Please help.

Not heard of this one before! Nothing happened to your .htaccess file? What version of osCmax are you running? Do you know what version of PHP they upgraded you to?

Upgraded to PHP 5.3.

I've eliminated any issues the the .htaccess file (as far as the separate login required there). The OSCMax 2.0 screen comes up, but I'm unable to login.

Okay - so your .htaccess file is not redirecting to login (so no deny for below admin/)

Can you access the database through phpMyAdmin or similar?

If so, you could backup your database - and search the wiki for the password reset method. Reset your password to check it is not this.

Are you getting any error messages in your server logs?

Correct. The possibility of this adding to the issue has been temporarily eliminated

Yes.

I have reset the PW using both the encrypted "changeme" from the wiki, which didn't work, and also from another stock OSC store where I was able to set a test account PW. Neither worked.

No.

At this point, I'm thinking it may be an issue wtih the version (OSCMax 2.0) not being compatible with PHP 5.3.
