Default Fatal Error regarding 'out of memory' issue

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 13369344) (tried to allocate 5457127 bytes) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/includes/classes/seo.class.php on line 2440

It's currently on a VPS package that contains 1024MB and 3072MB burstable.

Does this mean I still need higher resources in Ram? Tech support from them told me that I need to uninstall the script, but I don't see how this is possible. The site currently has 60,000 items as well.

You should try clearing the seo url cache first.

You may have to increase the memory limit in php.ini.

I went ahead and reset the seo cache, the hosting said they also increase my memory parameters to 256mb, however the issue is still present

Try this: ULTIMATE Seo Urls 5 - by FWR Media - osCommerce Support Forum - Page 110

It looks like the cache is getting too big due to the number of products you have.

I've installed it and supposedly might do the trick, the only thing is that I've never been able to solve the admin/categories issue that still lags. So far the server hasn't crashed yet since.

What is this issue? Have you posted this elsewhere or am I missing something?

Because you have so many products ... are they nested in to categories or do you have categories with hundreds of products in them?

Solution (untried) - 0000902: Feature Request: Admin categories.php page splitting - osCmax Bug Tracking System

Might be worth a go ... no reason why it should speed things up!

Could you export your products/categories tables to a sql file and email it to me so I can use it for testing? I will use it to clean up the queries a bit for large data sets. I have a feeling I know what the issue is, but I would love to test it with a giant data set.
