No confirmation email, and Payment module missing stuff...

Actually if you look at my screen cap. you'll notice that I can't see the Action anymore to install or uninstall?? No right panel is showing

Is it as simple as removing the .php files and then adding them back?
Or will that corrupt it even more?

ok I figured out the issue for the missing edit portion of the payment modules. Through searching google like mad I found in a Zen Cart forum a solution:

The directory:
/includes/modules/payment

is an auto loading directory ...

More than likely what is happening is that you have a backup file or a renamed file in that directory that is conflicting with another file ...

Another possibility is that you have copied the language file to the:
/includes/modules/payment

or the code file to the:
/includes/languages/english/modules/payment

I had a backup file in the same directory. I removed it and that seemed to fix it.


Sooo..., the email confirmation problem is linked to something else?

I still need a solution to the Email issue.

Anybody know why this would occur all of a sudden?

Can you send other emails (eg. from newsletters)? If not then it may be a change to the server settings by your host. Regards,

We figured it out. It was a total separate thing. As I was working on more than one thing last week I couldn't pinpoint what was the cause.

But we figured that the mail email in "Email options" password had been change and the "SMTP Authentication Password" in Admin was not change to the new password.

Consider this case closed.
