Default Beta 3 - Fresh install does not allow me to do anything in Admin

    Hi,

I have installed EasyPHP v5.3.1 on my PC. I have installed v2.5 Beta 3 and I have a problem when logging into the "admin". I can get into the admin, but it does not allow me to do anything. for instance clicking on any of the tabs along the top "Configuration"; "Catalog"; "modules" etc, it does nothing.

I do have an error on my IE8 lower bar, which says "Done, but with errors on page". Looking at these errors show:

"jQuery" is undefined for hoverIntent.js Line1
"jQuery" is undefined for superfish.js Line13
"jQuery" is undefined for supersubs.js Line17
"jQuery" is undefined for jquery.cluetip.min.js Line19
    Object expected
    index.php Line23
    Code: 0 Char 5
    URI:http://127.0.0.1/admin/index.php

I have loaded the installation at root (ie. not using "catalog".). I should also point out I have installed oscMaX v2.0.25 with EasyPHP 5.3.1 in the past without issue, but fancied giving the Beta 3 release a go.

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks
    Paul

Have you got a live internet connection? jQuery is loaded via CDN on the fly for osCmax v2.5 ...

    Regards,

You have to have a live internet connection to use the admin panel. The admin needs to be able to connect to google API to get jquery/jquerui as it is remotely loaded from the CDN for speed.

Thanks for fast replies chaps! That'll be it. This PC is now stand-alone with no internet connection (don't ask!)

I will reload it onto my other pc with a live connection.

    thanks
