    Still can't work this out. If I create a categorie and then add a product it will only show if I make it a featured product. I cannot add it to cart and it does not show in the categories product list. I have done 2 clean installs I'm using 2.5 beta 3 any ideas where to start looking?

    Ummmm, by chance are you using the SEO popout categories menu? Then you need to clear the cache before new categories will appear. How about a link to the site for us to test?

    No It is just as it came nothing changed. Unless that is enabled as standard?

    Are you sure that you created the product within the category and not just at the same level?
    Hosting plans with installation, configuration, contributions, support and maintenance.

    I created a folder I then created a product in that folder. The same way I have always done.

    I am so dumb I read "Select Groups To Hide This Product From" as "Select Groups To Add This Product To"
    Don't know why I think it is a combination of poor eye site and being tired.
    Thank you all so much for helping. It works like a dream.
