[osCmax v2.5x] New currency not showing

I installed Oscmax2.5 recently and moved my database from osc2.2rc2a. Everything was OK. Tried adding new currency of Indian Rupees and changed to Default. Now the website is not showing the currency and shows 0 only.
When changed to default, it asks for manual updating. I tried clicking the update currency button but it shows error as couldnt update from Oanda and Xe.
How to show the price in catalog site now. I changed default to USD but no price seen in catalog site. I could see prices in stock report and others properly in admin but not in catalog site.

Your connectivity to xe & oanda has nothing to do with anyone else - purely your own network environment.

Just tested new currency with INR (Indian Rupees) - no problem, through xe.com

Thanks. Now I did a fresh installation of Beta3 and tried again.
My first attempt in Beta2 was I removed other currencies and kept only INR where the price did not show up.
In beta3, I created new currency and made INR default but Catalog still shows USD. I have change in catalog homepage currency selection to INR and it shows the price.
In my current osc2.2rc2a site, I have only INR currency and deleted other ones as I dont ship outside India. I want to have a similar one currency in OSCmax2.5 also.
I tried to delete other currencies in Beta2/3 but the price in catalog doesnt show up.

Try starting with the relatively stable 2.0.25 release (this is the Public release) until you become familiar with osCmax.
It is great that so many are trying out the beta but it IS beta software and so some background knowledge is very useful.

Using lateral thinking, if prices were originally in $ and you added INR, then subsequently deleted $ (where price values were entered), it is highly likely that the price values will not show (each currency has an associated ID). Unless you know enough about mySQL to change the currency ID in the db, then you will be better off exporting through EasyPopulate, setting up the single currency, replacing $, then import the products back in.

Note: similar issues can sometimes be experienced with Tax Rates/Zones when trying to replace Florida (particularly in osc2.2)
