    Nope!

    Get some more details of what they are doing (exactly) so we can test.

    Unfortunately she hasnt given me her step by step actions in order for me to investigate further which is why I thought I would take a stab in the dark posting here, maybe something similar has happened to someone else.

    If/when I get more details I will post.

    Ok finally I have some information on this problem.

    Also as she enters new products, they often dissapear after hitting submit so Im guessing its a similar issue.

    Any ideas?

    The problem is with your mysql server. That means the insert never happens.

    See this:
    http://bogdan.org.ua/2008/12/25/how-...rror-2006.html

    You need to figure out what the problem is with your mysql server, as that is not a problem with osCmax.

    Thanks Michael

    I was tearing my hair out wondering what it was an none of my other clients have experienced this.

    I don t have access to any of the files mentioned in the article you sent me to but am contacting her host to get the mysql timeout increased.

    I would suggest moving hosts! Two of the senior board members offer hosting services for osCmax ... I would try one of them!

    Michael_s = www.aabox.com
    RidexBuilder = www.ejsolutions.co.uk

    We have never been hapy with this host. Even getting a simple SSL certificate was an absolute nightmare.

    Personally I always use hostgator, very happy with them.

    Guess its time to inform my client, she wont be happy but not much can be done about that.

    PS. DO NOT use enetica hosting
