    Question Stack Overflow Line 24

    I am not sure where to post this but I need help with this error in Internet Explorer 8 when I try to copy and paste information from my distributor into the product editor I get a Stack Overflow Line 24 error message. If I type in it I do not get this error. I also tried Firefox which gives no error message but both of them not saving the information I submitted.

    Not sure what is going on here but if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V combinations, rather than using mouse actions?
    Could be 'hidden' code in your source information - copy and paste into Notepad/Gedit, then C&P from there to the product description.

    It's weird because the problem was not happening before when I added other products. Now all of the sudden it is doing it. When I copy and paste to notepad and then copyback from that it does not occur but this way makes it real time consuming considering I have a lot of products to add.

    could have changing this done anything ?

    To change the new products for this month to just display one or two per row, it is really easy too. Just find the following code in /catalog/includes/modules/new_products.php

    PHP Code:
    $col ++;
    if (
    $col > 2) {
    $col = 0;
    $row ++;

    Re-read. More likely it's the information from the distributor.

    I understand what you are saying but the distributor has not changed anything on their website within the last 24 - 72 hours. I had successfully added two products to the system the day before yesterday by just copying their description and other information then pasting it and slightly modifying it once pasted to delete some of the rows since it is pasting it as a table.

    I tried last night to go back to those two previous products and make a test product then use the information copied from the distributor for a product I was able to successfully add previously by copying and pasting. I then got the same error. So I am at a loss, this method worked fine in OSCommerce and worked fine is OSCMax a few days ago. Why are the tables suddenly causing issues ?

    Can you post a screen capture of the error message please. I the mean time, try switching to a different browser. That would have been my first debug step.

    The first thing I tried was using different browsers... Internet Explorer and Firefox (I mentioned it in my original question). IE gives the stack overflow error message and Firefox acts like it saved the information but when you check the product the description is blank so it is not saving the description and their is no error message.

    I have attached a screenshot, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as this problem is really annoying.

    Could you post up the document you are copy/pasting from so we can try to duplicate? Or PM to me?
