Cool Menu Will Not Work Right

I have installed osCMax twice and still the same problem. The cool menu will not work right. The categories are outside the category box. You can see here. www.bigbsleather.com. Can anyone tell me whats going on and how to fix the problem.

I personally would not use it at all! We have removed it from the latest version of osCmax v2.5a because it is unreliable.

If you are not in a rush then I would wait for v2.5 which has SEO Categories with fly out sub-menus.

However, from a quick glance at your source it looks like the divs are being loaded before the table structure ... have you changed anything else?

Have a look at the demo store in the footer of this email to see what you can do with a bit of simple css on the standard categories menu.

WOW that looks nice. Any idea when there will be a stable release of the new version. I need to get this site setup ASAP. Holiday shopping you know.

The site is actually running on v2.0.4 with a few tweaks - so you can add the same functionality to any version.

To answer your question v2.5 is due for release anytime now ... but there are still a few bugs to iron out. When it is released it will still be in Beta for a while to ensure everything works properly.

You could copy the categories.php box from v2.5 and load it into v2.0.25 so that you have the styling functionality ... Or try using the pgm template from v2.5 in your version - it should work (but no guarantees!)
