I am trying to track down why my site has stopped tracking the number of product sales and has also stopped subtracting the sale quantity from stock levels.

Both the "Check stock level" and "Subtract Stock" are set to "true" in the Stock Config menu.

Where else do I need to look to check for settings that may be affecting the sales quantity recording capability?

At what point in the order process is the sale recorded as a sale and the stock depleated?

Also, which php file actually makes the changes to the database by recording the sale and stock decrement? Is there a specific order status that triggers this event or something else?

Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
