ultimate seo installation issue

Hi

I am have been using oscmax for a while and tried to switch on ulitmate SEO... basically it didn't work so i installed the latest version into the site and update the relevant files..... however when i am logged in as the admin and try to go to the category / product admin sections to add or edit a product i now just get a blank screen?????

Help please as this is a major problem for me....

SEO urls work fine, you simply did not properly enable. I bet you forgot to edit your .htaccess file or your server does not have mod_rewrite enabled.

Revert your changes as you broke something with your attempted upgrade.

I hope you read the wiki before installing the latest version!

You need to switch it on Admin and then edit your .htaccess file to do the url rewriting ...

Did you edit your .htaccess?

Thanks for the swift response but sorry i know your the expert and everything but it didn't work.....

I had edited the .haccess file.... however it would not remap existing urls even with the cache reset....

I upgraded to version 2.2_10 and made the changes and it worked fine.... editing the .htaccess and a couple of php files as directed by the instructions.....

now the actual website side of things works perfectly.... and it is only the admin side of things that gives a blank screen when i try and go to category.....

reverting to the previous version doesn't solve the problem of the initial version not working correctly.

Thanks yes i did edit it.... like i say it works perfectly on the actual site... it is only in the admin section where the category and product section produces a blank screen.
