Why ask this question in the standard osCommerce section?

It says osCommerce 2.2 Installation Help, I'm asking for help installing 2.2. I don't see an upgrade section.
osCmax 2.0.2 is NOT osCommerce 2.2. You posted to the standard vanilla osCommerce 2.2 forum, not the osCmax forum. Moved to the proper forum.

I missed that one; I was very tired when I posted.
Actually, my first post is vague...
I have an osCMax site (v2.0.2), stock, with a template interface.
I set up a second database, and installed osCMax (v2.0.25); no problems.
I've tried to upload a backup (.sql), and I've tried to upload a easy populate file (.csv) to osCMax (v2.0.2); both files upload and appear to be accepted by the store (v2.0.25), but I'm not seeing any inventory or categories.
I had a similar problem with another product; the only way around it was to make a copy of the original site and apply the incremental release updates to bring the site current.
Is that the case here, or is there something I've overlooked?
Thanks in advanced.
