issues with captcha module

I downloaded the contact-short-captcha project for oscmax but the image is not showing up at all. I made sure I mod 755 the captcha.php file and image directory. The contact us page loads but not the actual captcha image on that page.

Then I loaded that the captcha.php into my browser. and it threw some errors like

"Notice: Undefined index: code in images/captcha.php"

" Undefined variable: x in images/captcha.php "

any suggestions?

Also if there is another project that is recommend and easy to install in order to keep robots from flooding oscmax, please post.

slight problem for oscmax 2.025, the admin/include/boxes/configuration.php file is dynamically calling each row from the database. there is no <li> listing of the options.

That is the new v2.1 menu system ... you will need to adapt the code for v2.0.25.

I think if you simply don't change anything in that file it should work ...
