Missing countries

I am attempting to create a new account in v2.0.15, from fresh install - not upgrade - and I've discovered that my countries are missing. The drop down list is empty. And in the store set up is lists on 223.

Am I missing a file? Or have I just been too much??

Could be a corrupt upload. All the countries are in the SQL install file. Try again, with a 'fresh' fileset.
Note: I prefer to tar.bz2 just the catalog directory, upload that to the server and expand there - rather than ftp up individual files. Just an option...

If feeling brave (drink some more ) - take a copy of the install SQL, cut out everything except the countries table section and import that file, to recreate the countries table.
