Problem after redirecting catalog to root

There was a 404 error after trying to edit Define MainPage in oscmax admin when I moved all my catalog files into the directory above it. I have changed all catalog to root directory in catalog/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php . What else do I have to change to make it work without the catalog directory?

Also, I'm having quite a bit of issue with loading multiple images. I've followed the guide and done things like CIMP0111_{1} for the first file, CIMP0111_{2} for the second, and inserted them both in images/thumbs and images/images_big as well as tried upper-case JPG and lower-case jpg which seems to be vital with my webhost or perhaps oscmax.

You also have to change all the DIR_WS_ and DIR_FS paths in the configure.php files.

Next, you are having problems with the mopics primarily because you are not supposed to put the braces in the filename.

They should look like this: CIMP0111_1.jpg

You should always use lowercase file extensions, as on linux, file.jpg and file.JPG are considered two completely different filenames.

edit: NEVERMIND I just fixed it lol. If anyone wants to know I just set to "false" "Main Thumbnail In "Thumbnail Images Directory". I have all my files in the main images folder too which may be what fixed it.

Thank you very much, Michael_S, that worked perfectly. But now I have encountered some trouble with dynamic mopic, I can't get the mouse to say "click to enlarge" anymore when I hover the mouse over the picture thumbnails and clicking does nothing. It worked before, but stopped maybe when I switched the files from catalog to root directory. I have tried putting the entire "images" folder in root directory and catalog directory and tried lower case and upper case and it still doesn't work. What do I need to edit?
