Importing products+cutsomers+orders from zencart?

Hiya everyone!
I was wondering.. is there a safe&easy method to transfer products from a working zencart to oscmax?
I have tried easypopulate, but it transfered the products without the categories and put them in some strange column in the sql.
I dont mind working a little in phpmyadmin for that, but what and how should i do it?

Zencart is not really osCommerce based any more.

The issue may be that Zencart may have changed the way things are done - and have added extra columns (osCMax has extra columns too....).

I would try tweeking the Zencart EZPopulate to export just the feilds you need - Try recrating a SINGLE complex item in OSCMAX that EXIST in Zencart - then EZPOPULATE that out. Make changes to Zencart EZpopulate to match.

The other option would be create a SQL script to upgrades products from one to the other.....IF you have a ton of items....
