Updating to RC3.02 Questions

It has just occurred to me that I may be running an older version of OscMax. Upon login to the Admin screen, the text indicates: Current Version: osCMax v2.0 RC3. I would like to ensure that I am updated to RC3.02, and want to confirm that I'm on the right track with the following steps:

1. backup existing instance
2. Unzip & FTP entire file/folder structure of version RC3.02 --- overwriting all except configure and .htaccess files.
3. Test logging in, catalog, etc...

Is the above correct? Are there any 'gotchas' I ought to keep an eye out for?

FYI, I am running PHP5 and sql 4.xx. I am also using the Paypal IPN module, and have SEO URLs enabled.

First try a FRESH install on a test system and load your pics/templates/dbase etc...

If all work

Backup - Backup - Backup....

And if I did not mention it yet...backup!

Upload the new files etc...

If running RC3.0 or 3.01, the upgrade is trivial. You can see the changes between 3 and 3.01 here:
