Default Changing the header and footer

I finally got this installed, but I want to change the look so that it looks like a part of my site. Is there an easy way to do this? A header and footer file?

please read about the BTS used to template OscMAX. It differs from how the standard OSC works (header/footer files being one main difference) and is far more powerful. than just using header and footer files.

Click the tutorial link in my sig below. It is more current and much more detailed than the above link. Also take a look at this primer:

Thank you for the reply. I was able to make all the changes to my cart and it looks great. However, I am noticing that the part at the bottom of the page that refers to "267 requests since Friday 05 September, 2008" is way down at the bottom of the page with about 80 blank lines above it. See for yourself.

    Caroline Waters Online Store

how do I kill off all those blank lines?

you want to remove that. The reason is simple. When someone comes to your online store, do you want them to know that you have served up so few pages? Now I have stores that have served up over 26,000 orders, but that shouldn't effect a buyer. They want to know that you have what they want, have it at a good price and will deliver it. Knowing that you have 1000 or 1000000 page views doesn't tell them anything really useful. So, my recommendation is just delete the counter.

The counter is not really the problem here. I will make that descision later.

What I need to know is why there is such a huge space between the counter and the bottom of the rest of the page.
