member groups>>define groups not saving selection

i seem to be having problems with the latest oscmax.

i have done a clean install and gone in to administrator>>member groups>>groups

selected the marketing group that is set up by default

then i check everything in the list but when i click on save and then go back in only half the list has been saved.

it also unselects the same items for the administrator group.

any one had this problem?

any suggestions

Can not reproduce issue. I have tried unchecking/checking all and portions. Works just fine.

could it be a php5 or mysql 5 issue??

because ive only recently upgraded to them and never had this issue before

Nope - running on one of my servers for OSCMAX development:
PHP Version: 5.2.0 (Zend: 2.2.0)
MySQL Version: 5.0.27-community-log

ive just installed wamp5 on my local machine and installed oscmax and it doesnt have a problem.

real odd and annoying because every time it doesnt save the settings i lose the tools list and cant restore the backup from there - i have to use phpMyAdmin to restore the database

There is a problem with your installation of php/mysql - try another version like EasyPHP

think i have found what is causing the problem

its Suhosin - i just recompiled apache without Suhosin and the problem has gone away
