Shipping Does Not Work

Hi, I am currently creating 2 shopping cart websites for 2 different clients.

Neither of the shopping carts will add shipping at checkout and I am at a loss as to why.

I have set shipping in customer types.

I have set it to zones and not zones, I've tried everything I can think of.

NOTE: Shipping didnt work right after install before I made any changes at all.

Also both carts are in Australia, can someone point me in the right direction for finding contribs for oscmax?

I tried adding a shipping contrib from oscommerce but it just errors my admin shipping page.

Im new at using oscmax and cant wait to get fully into it once I can sort this shipping problem.

You need to set the product weight to a number other than 0 or it will skip shipping.

0 weight is reserved for downloads and gift vouchers (virtual products) that do not have any shipping associated with them.

Is there somethign special you need to do to add new shipping modules?

I tried adding AUST POST module but even uploading a file into the shipping folder threw the shipping page off and thats whithout even touching any code.

You would have to check the shipping module code to find where the problem is.

Most shipping modules are simple. Just upload and enable.
