Unable to finish Installation Process

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to install osCMax v2.0 RC 3.0 in my box but I cannot complete the installation process. I get to the fisrt screen (New Installation), checked the "Import Catalog Database" and "Automatic Configuration" checkboxes, click on the "Continue" button ... and nothing happens

I just see a change in my URL. It changes from "catalog/install/install.php" to "catalog/install/install.php?step=2" but I keep seeing the "New installation" screen. Don't know what's wrong.

Has anyone out there dealt with this ussue? Thanks in advance for your support!

Environment components: Apache 2.0.58 (Windows), PHP 5.0.4 and MySQL 4.1.20

ISSUE CLOSED!!!

After a little debugging of the install.php script, found that $HTTP_GET_VARS['step'] was not returning any value at all. Reviewed my php.ini and found that register_long_arrays was set to Off (installation default value, I guess). Just set register_long_arrays to On, and everything worked fine. I finished my instalation.

There is already a sticky here in the forums that explains exactly this. Doing a quick perusal of the sticky threads would have found your answer (or a search)...
