| First day newbie. Anyone have this issue and know how to get past it? I ftp'd the catalog file for osCMax2 rc3 to my root directory. Created a new database via Go Daddy hosting interface. Changed the two configure.php files to 777 Used IE to launch the install. Connection to database was successful and import (which was an empty database) was successful. When I use the admin tools I get: Warning: main(includes/languages/add_ccgvdc_english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/e/s/a/esadcustoms1/html/catalog/admin/includes/languages/english.php on line 496 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/languages/add_ccgvdc_english.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/e/s/a/esadcustoms1/html/catalog/admin/includes/languages/english.php on line 496 When I click the catalog I get: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_admin_check_boxes() in /home/content/e/s/a/esadcustoms1/html/catalog/index.php on line 28 Any help would be appreciated. |

| You probably have a problem in at least your admin/includes/config.php and possibly both config.php files. You can post your config files without the database info if you need help. On a side note I have a suggestion for you since you said you are a first day newbie. You might want to consider using a host better suited for this as Go Daddy is not a good choice for this. There are many hosts that will be a ton better for you but my suggestion would be AAbox as that's the only one I've used and it's perfectly setup for OSCMax.

| Thanks. I will look into different hosting right away. |

| When I installed, I followed all of the advice given. It still didn't work. What I found was the install reset the config files. Run your install, go in and edit the config files manually and you should be good to go. If you run the install again, however, it will wipe out your changes. |
