Default converting from oscommerce rc1 to oscmax

I purchased a template from templatemonster.com (Purephoria.com) but it is an oscommerce rc1. I would like to convert to oscmax (including both database conversion and php conversion). If there is any instructions or/and scripts about this conversion. I would really appreciate.

Thanks

Scott

This is a manual process.

To convert the template is not that hard. Read the BTS Primer to get you started:
bts_docs [osCMax and osCommerce documentation]

Upgrading the database is a little more problematic if you are not moderately experienced with mysql. There are a lot of discussions about this already. Basically, you need to upgrade the data schema of your RC1 cart to match osCMax. Then you export the existing data from your RC1 cart to a sql file.

Then you import the customer, product, attribute and order data to the osCMax cart.

It sounds straightforward enough, but if you are not well versed in mysql, it could be a while before you get it working right...
