Hangs on create account

ok I have installed without any problems. I have logged in and created cats and manufacturers and set things up. Now if I try to create a customer account it just like freezes. Script times out. Does anyone know what this might be from?

I have installed everything fine and have added products and what not. Problem I have now is when I try to create an account whether it be in the admin or catalog section it just hangs until the script times out. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

You need to start by checking your account error logs, usually provided in your hosting control panel. Look for timeout errors, or any sort of php error.

Does it hang when submitting the form, or does the page just not load for you?

I get a error for maximum execution time exceeded in database.php on line 45

Ok, and what is the max execution time set to?

What PHP version?

And also per my previous post:
Does it hang when submitting the form, or does the page just not load for you?
