| This is the error I get after the installer succesfully finds/accepts my database... I checked several times, and even re-downloaded the package and the fils osCMax.sql is exactly in that library: catalog/install/osCMax.sql Database Import The following error has occurred: SQL file does not exist: /install/osCMax.sql After this I can click "retry" till I turn blue, but nothing happens, just getting this error over and over again. Help me please, what do I do? Is the sql file in the installer package corrupt/wrong? |

| You have given yourself your own answer. The paths you list are different. This is most likely to you extracting the files in the wrong location. Per you: file exists at catalog/install/osCMax.sql Install needs it at install/osCMax.sql This would tell me your likely installing the shop on the root to act as the website, in other words in your root folder, at yourdomain.com When in fact the files are located off your root folder at htp://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/install/osCMax.sql FTP to your site, make sure in your public root folder (/public_html for cpanel, or /httpdocs for plesk), that you have a subdirectory called /catalog and that inside that folder is a directory containing /install with a file in it called osCMax.sql Sincerely,

| Hi, I have encountered the same error message whilst installing to localhost under IIS, and the path I have is http://localhost/catalog/install/osCMax.sql. I also tried putting a copy of the install folder @ root, ie http://localhost/install/osCMax.sql, but that didn't work either. I'm sorry if I'm being dense, but I don't even understand vixendk's answer to red_fraggle; surely when you unzip to a folder (eg I want this on a store/subdomain of my main domain) the paths are relative, and if you're installing from /catalog it should look straight to the install folder therein (or is the path absolute.... in which case can someone tell me where it's coded so I can change it....) Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance |

| I'm having the exact same issue as listed here. I've tried copying the source to httpdoc directly and then tries htttpdocs\catalog. Anybody have another idea? |
