| I have an 2003 version of osc max. http://www.christianscott.com/catalog/index.php Recently my host decided to migrate our server which uses: php 5.2.5 mysql 5.0.54 linux 2.6.9 apache 2.0 everything was transferred like for like. Except of course the versions of php, sql etc. Register globals are still switched to ON. Now the website doesn't work. If you click on the home page everything seems ok, but if you click on the menu items these don't work. The only pages that work are the custom pages (catalog/custom_contact.php , catalog/custom_featured.php etc). So I've installed a new version of OSCMAX. I've put in a new database link to this page, and edited the configure files as best I can. (note that I couldn't use the install script because it wouldn't go beyond the first page). The catalog pages seem to be working fine... osCMax v2.0 : Welcome to AABox.com's osCMax v2.0 - change this in /english/index.php But now I'm going nuts about admin page... it keeps loading and reloading back and forth until it stops. Both Safari and Firefox says something like this: "Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://www.christianscott.com/admin/login.php”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page." Now I thought it might be a .htaccess problem, but I've left the old admin pages there and the old admin login page works fine (I can log in to the old admin area but the links don't work after that). Also I've tried to do a straight swap with the include/configure.php files, replacing the new configure.php files with the old ones. Again this doesn't stop the new admin login page reloading continuously. So I don't think the problem is either .htaccess or the configure files (but I might be wrong). Can someone please help me fix this admin login problem. I've seen in discussed here but with no conclusions at the end. Also, some tips on how to get the old website migrated to the latest version of OSCMAX once I've got the admin page working would be a bonus. My customer is loosing £££££££££££££ and I'm in deep trouble if I don't get this sorted soon. Appreciate any help you can offer. B. rgds, Rodland Last edited by Rodland; 02-24-2008 at 03:48 AM. |
