Installer won't run

I am trying to instal OscMax for my new domain. I am using Linux hosting. I've downloaded OscMax and via ftp have uploaded the files to my httpdocs directory.

Following the instructions I have changed the permissions to 777 and now I am stuck.

The installer won't run and I am getting this error when I put in the url as per the instructions:

"Server not found"

Can anyone help please?

What url are you putting in?

That error has nothing to do with osCMax, it means you are using a bad url that is not pointing to an active page.

All sorted now thank you, was some problem with the way the files were set up on the server apparently.
