| Cannot connect to database for installation. My server, username, password are all in order and I don't have a problem connecting through FTP... but I keep getting Access denied for user 'smelly@aromadeli'@'server.host-shapeandlight.com' (using password: YES) Anyone can suggest anything I would appreciate it |

| That error means that in fact, you do not have everything in order - thus the error. So, verify that the host name is correct. This setting should usually be set to localhost but confirm this with your host. You should also verify that the username and password for the user are correct and also verify that you have actually granted permission on the database to that user. If you don't grant permissions, it will not matter that the info is correct.
