Default i am confused with numerous option of oscmax2

Hello friends

I am scratching my head while writing this.

Actually there are so many options it become cumbersome to determine the actual way a manager of the shopping site should progress to create,manage and test his shopping site.

1) like the customer can create/change his shipping address and i cannot find it under the customers section to create and change a shipping address. So an so forth forth.

I wish to know feature wise what happen when something is done where is it located etc.

Hello

when should a manager of a shopping cart create an order under customer section of administration panel.

This is perhaps to make a purchase on behalf of customer.

Not sure lets see - first go to to your Catalog DEMO/TEST site (link below if you want to see a live demo). Create account and place order

Next act like the Manager - Login to the admin side (see below for a live demo). Go into Customer then Orders - Edit/update (Address, shipping, details, status etc...), get details, invoice, create packing slip etc....

No - you normally don't change the customers "additional" addresses - but can change/edit it per order if need be. The customer can. You should only edit the customer main "data" like if he is having problems accessing his account or having some kind of problem.

Preferably NEVER. How ever if you have customers that for SOME reason they CAN'T use there account and like send you an email - however you have to use a MANUAL method of payment as it will NOT be sent though the payment gateways for payment. This is also good if you have phone orders or people that don't "trust" internet transaction or don't have internet access - but you want to still record, track and use this interface.


Yes there is MANY options - but like the large COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTING, CMS, ERP application - it is a more of what you need, what you want, and how is the best possible way to accomplish that. No two business would have the exact same requirements and may have different solutions.


So without SOME back ground on the type of business with what you need or want to accomplish - the only answer I can give you is to try it out. See what you like and compare it to what you need.
