how to handle zones for India,my zone entry in store setup configuration is incorrect

Dear sir

I am from India. There is no zone showing up for India under Location/Taxes section in Admin administration panel. My zone entry in store setup configuration is incorrect.

Moreover there are so many zones for a single country.

How do i gather all zones for india and determine my specific zone.

Dear friends

Understanding the fact that there is no zone for my country 'India',
i created one with the following details

1) Zone name : chhatisgarh (My Explaination : I picked this name b'coz this is the state in india where the store will belong.)

2)Zone Code : CG (Short form of Chhattisgarh state of country India)

3) Country : India (the store is in this country)

Is this is with correct understanding to create a new zone.

How should i create a tax zone.

kindly help elaborate.

The zones that are in osCMax (and OSC) are the default of :

US, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain

(where the original/core OSC team members are based). Any other countries and you have to add them. There is like nearly 1000 countries with an uncountable number of states/counties/provinces/zone and can possibly include every single one and to keep updating them as they are constantly changing.
