What is cross sell products,products expected,specials in admins catalog section,attribute manager mean?

I am unable to figure out how to use ' products expected ' under
catalog section in admin login.

Cross sell products - allows you to place similar products on other product pages to cross sell your inventory.

Products expected - allows you to display upcoming products.

Specials - allows you to have special pricing for products.

Attribute manager - allows you to manage product attributes, such as size, color.
