| In a part of my business, the furniture business (involved 30 years now) the marketplace has changed a lot in the last 3-5 years. A lot of furniture and large items are now being shipped cross country in the US due to massive internet sales growth and I am sure the same is occuring elsewhere. Most of these items, like wrought iron beds, sofas, or larger French bakers racks etc. cannot ship via UPS. I know the thread is closed regarding geographical based shipping an multiple zones and weight ranges. Is there a way to adapt the UPS system and / or the Zone system to come up with a hybrid that is better suited for Common Carriers (Truck) that deals in in larger and heavier items? Need 4-8 multi-state zones like UPS with an approximate weight / price scale. Can this be done for shipping across the (any) country? If so , how? Not apparent to me. Thanks |

| Yes this is a great idea as I ship All Terrain Rescue trailers all over the US. I know that my shipper, Old Dominion, has a set of e-commerce tools that you can download, but I do not know how to implement them to work with OSC. If someone could come up with this, there may be a few of us that would definatly use it. RJ |
