Default Authorize.net 1.7 Stopped Working

One of my biggest customers store just stopped accepting Auth.net out of the blue. It was working fine a week ago.

It's the classic error:

"The server cannot connect to Authorize.net. Please check your cURL and server settings."

I've tested the Login API and Transaction Key on another store on the same dedicated server and it works fine. I've installed and uninstalled the module several times. I also tried to install authorizenet_aim_1_2_1, but it seems like it doesn't want to work with the validate function is OSCMax, so I gave up on that.

CURL support enabled
CURL Information libcurl/7.15.3 OpenSSL/0.9.7a zlib/1.2.1.2 libidn/0.5.6

Any ideas?

Thanks
Dubious

Check with the host. Maybe they upgraded curl+php . If they did, you wll most likely need to update the mod. If it suddenly stops working, it is not osCMax that is the problem. Most likely the server setup has changed to break it somehow.

If you can get some error output and post it here, that would give me an idea of where the issue lies.

How do I update the mod if my cURL has been updated?

My server support just told me "Curl is not compiled with SSL support to fix the issue" which I guess means they must have changed something. I don't see anything unusual in my normal cpanel error log. Is there another log I should look at?

Thanks!

There is nothing you can do about it. Your host confirmed that they have made your server incompatible with the authorize net module.

You need PHP compiled with Curl+SSL support for it to work, and they don't have curl set up correctly, and unless your host recompiles php with curl+ssl, it simply cannot work.
