Unhappy Undocumented Feature of Firefox 2.0.0.1 with Admin 'Define Mainpage'

From the 'Define Mainpage' screen in Admin, after clicking the "Source" button, firefox throws up an error screen and leaves the Error Signature:

AppName: firefox.exe AppVer: 1.8.20061.20418 ModName: firefox.exe
ModVer: 1.8.20061.20418 Offset: 003e5c1e

I'm running osCMax RC3. I was editing with Firefox 2.0.0.1. I know that Internet Explorer 7 doesn't have the issue and I don't remember this error on Firefox 1.x., so I think its an undocumented feature of Firefox.

I can encounter this error repeatedly on Firefox for 'Define Mainpage'. I haven't attempted to use wysiwyg editing on the other pages such as Shipping.

Default Re: Undocumented Feature of Firefox 2.0.0.1 with Admin 'Define Mainpage'

Personally, I prefer to use Firefox as my browser, but I found several errors with the wysiwyg editor that I am afraid to use it much. I have had the problem with the source view, and other elements causing crashes of the browser, and lost alot of changes from this. I also found that the code that is made with graphics in tables (I use alot of these) does not render the graphics well on some browsers if I use Firefox to develop. Finally, the spellcheck feature only works for me with IE. For all of these reasons, I am using IE for these changes most of the time.
